Role: Part Time Daily NannyDays: Monday to WednesdayHours: 9am – 6pm (flexibility required)Care for: Boy, 7 months oldLocation: Holland Park, London, W11Salary: £20 - £22 per hour net (dependent on skills, experience, and previous earnings)Start: ASAPWe are seeking a warm, nurturing, child-led nanny to help care for a baby boy aged 7 months, on both a sole and shared care basis. Mum is returning to work gradually on a part-time basis and is very hands-on, so is looking for a true partnership with the nanny.An ideal nanny will be personable, warm, and calm, with a genuine love of caring for babies and children. You will be developmentally focused, highly experienced in supporting infants through key milestones, and able to work in partnership with hands-on parents.You will be responsible for supporting the baby’s daily routine, ensuring a varied and enriching schedule, including plenty of reading, age-appropriate stimulation, and outings such as walks, suitable classes, and activities.The family follow a child-led approach and require a nanny who will support this by planning the day around their son’s waking and sleeping times, which can be changeable. Duties include preparing fresh, healthy meals, nursery duties, and bottle preparation/sterilising. Ensuring his overall happiness, wellbeing, and development is essential. Their ideal nanny will have a warm and nurturing approach with a genuine passion for supporting infants and helping them reach their milestones.The family have a full-time housekeeper/nanny who assists Mum with the baby on Thursdays and Fridays when she is home. They also have a small dog, so need a nanny who is comfortable with pets in the home. A driver would be preferred but is not essential. Fluent English and strong communication skills are essential. Babysitting will be required by arrangement. Professional childcare qualifications such as Montessori or similar are preferred, along with excellent, checkable references. Flexibility to travel by arrangement would be an advantage.This is a wonderful opportunity for a nurturing nanny who ideally lives locally or already works in the area. It is essential that the nanny is very baby-led, relaxed, gentle, and able to take the lead from and work in close partnership with the parents.Interviews are taking place now for an ASAP start.
