We're hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to join a dynamic technical team in Hayes. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting production operations and driving continuous improvement in a cutting-edge aerospace manufacturing environment.What You'll Be DoingCreating and updating detailed manufacturing work instructions and tooling documentationSupporting operations on the shop floor by troubleshooting processes and resolving production issuesCollaborating cross-functionally with teams in IT, tooling, maintenance, and supply chainAnalysing manufacturing processes and identifying bottlenecks and wasteDriving process optimization through Lean and continuous improvement initiativesDeveloping and managing tooling master data in SAP systemsConducting time and motion studies, capacity analysis, and workflow mappingAssisting in automation and digital transformation projects to improve efficiencyWhat We're Looking ForHND or higher in Mechanical Engineering or similar technical disciplineProven experience with CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and creating manufacturing documentationStrong understanding of engineering drawings and inspection regimesFamiliarity with metal processing and surface finishing, ideally in aerospaceConfident with ERP/MRP systems and MS Office toolsA collaborative team player with excellent analytical and communication skillsRight to work in the UK without restrictionWorking EnvironmentOffice-based with frequent work on the production floor (exposure to chemicals may occur)Flexibility required: potential shift work and weekend support during critical phasesOccasional travel to partner facilities may be neededWhy Apply?Be part of a high-performance engineering team working on critical aerospace componentsInfluence real process change and innovationCompetitive pay, development opportunities, and a structured working environmentApply Now:Send your CV to or call (phone number removed) for more details - or simply apply directly to this advert.
