Our client is a well-established, family-owned care agency with over 30 years of experience delivering exceptional health and social care services. With offices in both London and Manchester, they support hundreds of families by creating personalized care solutions that improve the quality of life for seniors and children alike.Operating across a wide range of settings—including community inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics, and private homes—our client delivers an integrated portfolio of services. These include complex care, paediatric care, IV medication administration, post-operative care, mental health support, respite care, domiciliary care, palliative and dementia care, as well as post-stroke rehabilitation. They also offer primary care and specialist community services.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team of professionals committed to providing person-centred care. As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting and shaping the workforce that makes such a meaningful impact on patients and their families every day.Key Responsibilities• Provide sound HR advice to managers and staff on employee relations, absence, performance, and conduct issues• Support the recruitment and onboarding of care staff, ensuring compliance with CQC and right-to-work requirements• Manage staff records, contracts, DBS checks, and training compliance• Support with investigations, disciplinary and grievance procedures• Maintain and update HR policies and employee handbook• Coordinate performance review cycles and appraisals• Provide regular HR reports to senior management• Support staff well-being, engagement, and retention initiatives • Ensure compliance with GDPR and safeguarding proceduresKey Requirements• Proven experience in an HR Advisor or similar HR role• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices • Experience in the care sector (preferred but not essential)• CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards)• Proficient with Excel – Intermediary level at least• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Able to manage sensitive issues with professionalism and confidentiality• Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office What We Offer
